TIDE POWER donates generator sets to hospitals in poor areas of Peru

Since their childhood, Dr. Klaus-Dieter John and his wife, Dr. Martina John, have sought to use their medical training to alleviate suffering in Third World countries. To this end, they decided to build a hospital from scratch in the town of Curavasi, in Apurimac, one of the poorest areas of Peru.

The Diospi-Suyana Hospital was founded in 2007, built on 100% thanks to donations from first-world countries (Europe and the United States). The cost per person is 4 soles ($1) and is focused on serving mostly the poorest population of Peru.

In December 2021, TIDE-POWER donated a 150 kW FC-170X-C generator set to DIOSPI-SUYANA Hospital to help the hospital continue operations even during power outages.

In January 2022, technicians installed a generator set in the engine room at DIOSPI-SUYANA Hospital.

On January 25, 2022, Dr. Klaus Jahn invited the relevant personnel to visit DIOSPI-SUYANA to check the normal operation of the generating set.
